Leh Ladakh

Elevation 7,742 m (25,400 ft). Ladakh (“land of high passes”) is a region in northern India. It is located between the Kunlun mountain range in the north and the main Himalayas to the south. Ladakh is well-known for its remote mountain scenery. It is inhabited by a mix of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan people.



Sarchu

Elevation: 4,290 m (14,070 ft). Sarchu (also known as Sir Bhum Chun) is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh in India.



Pangong

Elevation: 4,225 m (13,862 ft). Pangong Lake also known as Pangong Tso is a beautiful endorheic lake situated in the Himalayas and is 134 km long, extending from India to China.



Spiti Valley

Elevation: 4,100 m (13,450 ft). Spiti Valley is a cold desert mountain valley located high in the Himalayas in the north-eastern part of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The name "Spiti" means "The middle land", i.e. the land between Tibet and India.



Kaza

Elevation: 3,800 m (12,500 ft). Nestled in one corner of the beautiful Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Kaza happens to be a tranquil and serene destination in Spiti Valley



Shimla

Elevation: 2,276 m (7,467 ft). Among the most popular hill stations in India, Shimla holds a distinct place owing to its unique charm. Located at a distance of 342 km from the national capital, Delhi, Shimla is a great choice for a weekend getaway from Delhi and Chandigarh since there are so many places to visit in Shimla.



Manali

Elevation: 2,050 m (6,730 ft). Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley.



Dalhousie

Elevation: 1,970 m (6,463 ft). Dalhousie is a town spread across five high-altitude hills nestled close to the Dhauladhar Mountain Range in the state of Himachal Pradesh.



Dharamshala

Elevation: 1,457 m (4,780 ft). Dharamshala is blessed with the same beauty as other parts of the state, but what sets it apart is its strong Tibetan character.



Kangra

Elevation: 733 m (2,405 ft). Spread out over the western region of the state, Kangra is by far the largest region of Himachal Pradesh.
